EVERY WINE LABEL CLAIMS THE WINE WILL BE JUST RIGHT FOR YOU. Have you ever gone to a wine store, gotten little or no assistance, picked a promising label, and then found the wine was totally different from what you expected? We have.

THERE ARE OVER 230 WINERIES IN NEW YORK STATE. Wineries from the Hudson River Valley, Finger Lakes, Lake Erie and Long Island have been producing award-winning wines for decades. Have you found many wines from these regions in your local wine or liquor store? We didn't.
We're Margot and Rich Cirino, the proprietors of UnCorked Glens Falls (formerly New York Wine Cork), a unique wine store in upstate New York. Our mission is to make it easier for you to find, and enjoy, wine.

On May 16, 2000, we opened New York Wine Cork in a little, tiny 20' x 20' store between Hartford and Granville. Our plan was to sell New York State wines by mail order from our website. We expected to see our UPS driver every day and just a few random (perhaps lost) customers in person at our little Baker Road shop. Goodness, how things changed!

So many people came to visit us in Hartford that, in 2005, we moved our store to Glens Falls, just as it was awakening from a very, very long economic nap.

Baking and art collide in the confectionery creations of Punk Food Cakes. Each one-of-a-kind cake is custom-designed and entirely made from scratch. Punk Food Cakes taste as good as they look.

We serve a wide region which extends outward from the Glens Falls, Lake George, Saratoga Springs core Region.

Designs

The artists at Punk Food Cakes work directly with each client to design individualized creations. Free consultations make each confection a perfect match for our clients’ parties, weddings and events.

Let us create a special cake for your next party We specialize in wedding cakes, birthday cakes cakes for business and corporate events, and fun cakes for any occasion.

Flavors

All Punk Food Cakes are covered in buttercream frosting and a layer of fondant. Additional decorations of gumpaste and other edible materials may be added.

Basic cake flavors are yellow cream soda and chocolate decadence. Premium flavors include carrot cake, red velvet cake, lemon, banana, almond and Italian cream. Additional flavors are available by request.

Pricing

Pricing is based on size and complexity. Because each cake is custom-designed, price quotes are given during customer consultation meetings. Deposits are required to hold dates for weddings and private parties.

Founded by Oscar and Edith Quintal, this family owned business has been run by the Quintals for over 45 years.

The unique quality and flavor of Oscar's smoked meats have been tasted and enjoyed all over the world. Oscars has become a household name not only locally, but on a national scale. Through our mail order customers and national wholesale accounts, we have built a following that is based mostly on word-of-mouth advertising. By using the same formulas that Oscar himself used, to adapting to the times with modern formulas, Oscars can give you that home cooked taste that you have grown to love.

With 159 products produced on the premises, Oscars surely has something for everyone, from the simple to the exotic, from the old world to modern times, and from the young at heart to the old.

High in the Adirondack Mountains, located at the bottom of Hackinsack Mountain in Warrensburg, NY, is where you will find Oscar's Adirondack Mountain Smoke House. Founded by Oscar and Edith Quintal, this family owned business has been run by the Quintals for over 45 years. The unique quality and flavor of Oscar's smoked meats have been tasted and enjoyed all over the world. Our original wood-fired brick smoke house was built in 1946, and as the demand for Oscar's products grew more smokers were added. Today, five smoke houses are hard at work creating the savory flavor found in all of our meats.

In 1940 Oscar Quintal and his wife Edith, moved to Warrensburg. In 1943 the Quintals opened the original Oscar's Smokehouse in the Music Hall, but the business fell victim to the devastating Music hall fire of 1945. Bruised but not beaten, the Quintals rebuilt and reopened in 1946 at the present location.

As with any business, you must adapt to the changing times and trends of the business world, which Oscars has done very well. From the addition of lower salt products such as our hams, bacons and cheeses, to lower fat products such as our wide variety of chicken sausages. This along with the "Oscars Attitude" is what has allowed the business to grow to the greatness that it is today.
