Our Mission:  As stated by Mrs. Hyde in her 1952 Trust Agreement establishing The Hyde Collection, our mission remains "to maintain a Museum for the exhibition of the permanent collection and to promote and cultivate the improvement of the fine arts, for the education and benefit of the residents of Glens Falls and vicinity and the general public."

About Mimosa Gallery

Mimosa is a gallery of "art for home and wear", featuring contemporary fine craft. The jewelry, handbags, fiber, glass, ceramics, etc. are by local as well as nationally recognized artists. Mimosa Gallery is one of the most respected Saratoga Springs Art Galleries.

Mimosa, located within the Beekman Street Arts District in Saratoga's historic West Side, opened in 2005 and features work by over 50 artists. Its goal is to show that "art" can be functional and should be used in our everyday lives.

In 2007, owners Michelle and Michael LaLonde expanded the space, more than doubling the size of Mimosa, allowing space to showcase handmade furniture as well as fine art. Solo and group shows of fine art, sculpture and photography will feature established as well as emerging artists from around the country.
